The Truth About Online Work at Home Business Opportunitiesby Greg Cryns
If you believe the TV commercials you would think that making a lot of money at home is an easy thing to do. I saw one of those long TV infomercials this morning. I was shocked because the ads make it seem like they are telling the TRUTH. In fact, they are a haven for giant LIES. "I earned $5,000 yesterday!" says one woman. "I never thought it would be so easy to make a good living!" says a man. On another channel I watch two young very buxom woman with low cut dresses exclaim that they are making a ton of money on the Internet. The truth is that most people who try to make a living on the Internet fail. There are many reasons for this but I think the primary reason is that the hype is spellbinding. The pitch is that work at home money is like picking apples off a low hanging tree. That is what the early MLM companies started. An avalanche of lies.MLM and direct-sales companies want you to believe that an online business does not require much time. Worse, they imply that you won't have to spend much money to promote your business. It s not that they are directly lying. It's that they lie by omission. They omit to tell you the truth about business. I want you to know and understand this: no one makes money at home without spending a ton of hours and many dollars to develop their business. This applies to all
Internet work at home business. The problem is that they often do not tell you the truth. Most of them will tell you that simply showing your product or service to a lot of people will create a fortune. It's no wonder so many people despise the MLM companies. Work at home
businesses are loaded with business amateurs. Why would amateurs expect to succeed quickly? Because the lying advertising spellbinds them. People will believe what makes them feel good. They want to believe someone who tells them that making money is easy. The result is that we have the blind leading the blind. I want you to know that you will NEED THE MONEY to be successful. If your spouse is making a good living then your chances of success are greatly diminished. If you don't need the money, then you are working a hobby. If you don't need the money, you won't have much patience when your online business is not taking off as you expected. I want you to know that if you don't SPEND MONEY you will fail. It is much too easy
to start a work at home business. The initial payment is usually in the low
100's of dollars making it too easy to quit when you feel like it. Your cost
will come with personal monthly orders that are often required to stay in the
business. There is nothing wrong with an attempt to see if you can get a business going. I think working the internet is fun. There is nothing wrong with signing up to get products at a discount. Just don't expect to support yourself doing it unless you are willing to spend full time effort and lots of money doing it. Here is my fortune cookie wish for you: I hope is that you will pay $20,000 income tax this year working at home.
