While Pure Romance focuses on improving relationships around the country, it is also a resource for, and champion of the cause of sexual health awareness. Pure Romance has taken several proactive steps to raise the level of education on these issues including a national college tour, breast cancer program ( Sensuality, Sexuality, Survival ) and collaborative research studies with Indiana University (home of the Kinsey Institute). The company also recently launched a nonprofit organization called The Patty Brisben Foundation, which contributes funds to various charitable causes including The American Heart Association and breast cancer research. Why & When did you join this company? I joined Pure Romance in May of 2000 because I wanted to educate women about their sexual health and overall well being. I wanted to have an extremely flexible work schedule, and most importantly ... I joined this company to be able to be a stay at home mom to my three children while making almost a six figure income.

What is the startup investment? Our start up kit options are 3 choices: $250 Bronze Kit, with a value of $500, is a cost of $250; $500 Silver Kit, with a value of $1000, is a cost of $500; $1000 Gold Kit, with a value of $2200, is a cost of $1000. No matter what kit you decide to purchase you will receive a 40% buying discount on all future product purchases as long as you are an active consultant. What are the minimum monthly or quarterly sales, if any? NONE! We do not have any monthly or quarterly sales quotas. All that is required is that you place at least one retail order every 60 days ~ no minimums ~ it can be an order for one product! We do not have any annual fees. That's because this is truly your business - you can work as little or as much as you want, when you want!

What is your commission on your own sales? 53%!! At Pure Romance you begin at a 40% buying discount; with recruiting you have the opportunity to advance to 42%, 45%, 50%, 53% and 60% buying discount! We also earn FREE PRODUCTS EVERY MONTH based on our retail sales!

What advertising has worked for you? Word of mouth is your best advertising tool. Pure Romance also spends over 3 Million dollars a year on radio and TV ads at no cost to its consultants.

How do you balance work and family? It's actually quite easy when you own your own business. I don't have to wait for a boss to decide if I deserve that promotion, that raise that's long overdue, or approve my vacation time that I've request off. I don't have a boss telling me that I have to work a certain day or that I have to work overtime. I get to choose when I want to work, how often I want to work and I decide what works best for me and my family. The benefits and success I have achieved with Pure Romance are directly proportionate to how much effort I put into my business.

How about some advice for people who are looking into a work at home business? Be sure you are getting into the business with a good sponsor/mentor. Some of your success can be directly related to how much help/assistance you have with your business from your sponsor/mentor. Be sure to ask questions and have all the answers before you decide to make a final choice on the business you are thinking of pursuing. Also be sure the person that is signing you up isn't going to just leave you once you have 'officially' signed up. Talk to some of their other recruits to find out how good of a mentor/sponsor they are going to be for you. Research and do more research on the company - make sure you can honestly make money.

What is your experience so far? Where do I start?!? I LOVE MY JOB!!!! I have helped thousands and thousands of women over the years - whether it be in their own personal sexual health, the problems they are having with their relationships or the stress of trying to conceive their first child. I have empowered so many women by offering them the wonderful business opportunity that Pure Romance has to offer. I have brought families' closer together; allowed women the opportunity to become full time moms; allowed women to become their own boss; allowed women to take control of their own financial future! I have traveled to New Orleans, St Maarten, Las Vegas, Orlando, Oklahoma, Nashville, Biloxi, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cincinnati, Kansas, North Carolina, St Louis, Chicago, and I continue to travel ~ all thanks to Pure Romance! I built my second dream house in 2006 and drive the vehicle I have always wanted all thanks to the wonderful company Patty Brisben created ~ Pure Romance. I cannot describe all remarkable experiences that I have gone through in the past 7 years. My only regret is that I didn't find Pure Romance sooner!
