What is the startup investment? For $90
you receive a business start up kit which includes over $350.00 worth of our
top selling kitchen products plus a complete set of business supplies. The
business supplies include catalogs, invitations, order blanks, display crate,
denim apron, tons of training information including audio and video helpers
and a specialized computer program designed to make you business run very
smoothly.
Is there a company website provided? Cost?
The Pampered Chef maintains a website which lists all products, care
information, recipes and other tips and information. We as consultants do not
have personal websites.
What are the minimum monthly or quarterly sales,
if any? To stay active you must submit a total of $200 during a two
month period.
What is your commission on your own sales?
Base commission is 20%. But your monthly income is based on your
monthly sales, the higer your sales your commission will range anywhere from
20% - 30%, plus you can qualify for monthly bonuses. It really is a great pay
system but I don't have the room here to explain it the great detail it
deserves.
What is your experience so far? This
company is always working to make things better for it's consultants, there
are always great, new incentives, awesome bonuses, product enhancements and so
much more. They keep you so well informed, there is always ongoing training
and support.
What advertising has worked for you? I do
a lot of community events, local craft shows, women's events and fundraisers.
I also leave my name every where, catalogs, business cards or flyers on every
billboard or waiting room in town.
How much do you spend on advertising per month?
Around $20
What suggestions do you have for new business
startups? You never know what you can achieve if you never try. The
great thing about this company is you can sign up, you get your kit and do
just six shows, if you don't like it - you can leave the company and keep the
$350 worth of products plus the commission you earned. If you do six shows
and find you love it - the sky is the limit as to where you can take your
business, your the boss!
You do also have to remember that no business was an
overnight success. It takes time and effort to build a business and keep it
going.
