How long have you been with this company? Since April 2003.
What is the startup investment? 4
kits available..from FREE to $39.95. The large kit includes a $58
sweeper, several full size products and all the literature necessary
to get started in the business!
Is there a company website provided? Cost?
Company provides a website FREE. They provide a linked site that
allows the rep to send customers directly to the site to shop, and the
Distributor receives monthly commission based on sales. Dist are also
free to create and maintain their own site/cart if they choose!
What are the minimum monthly or quarterly
sales, if any? NO quota at all unless building a team. To
earn overrides the Dist must have a minimum of $35 RETAIL monthly, and
that can be achieved by personal orders OR customer sales.
What is your commission on your own sales? I
have achieved manager and earn from 26% to 46% monthly based on sales.
I have been earning 46% for the last several months on personal sales.
Overrides are the difference between your percentage and that of your
downline. Commissions begin at 20%, and increase to 26% with $600
cumulative sales. At that point you are locked in at the Manager level
and earn a minimum of 26% monthly, and up to 46%.
What is your experience so far? I
have found the company extremely easy to work with. They go out of
their way to support us, and give us opportunities to earn bonuses,
extra sale awards and more. I made manager in June of 2003, 2 months
after starting with the company. The majority of my business if from
online sales. But we are allowed to sell any way we choose except a
retail outlet.
What advertising has worked for you?
I have a google pay-per-click ad, listings in most of the online wahm
and ds sites, and post regularly with the search engines.
How much do you spend on advertising per
month? Currently I pay about $75/month for my pay-per-click,
and maybe another $10-$20 for online sites where I am listed. Last
month my check was over $1500, so I consider the investment in
advertising WELL worth the amount I spend!
What suggestions do you have for new business startups? Let everyone know that you are with Fuller. Anyone over the age of 50 is knows the name, the products and will be quite excited to know they can still buy the products. Go to local crafts and trade shows to get the word out that there is a "Fuller person" in town! Basically , the same as any business, get the word out!
Since most of my business has been online, it's hard to say as far as
local "best way". But if you are in an area with a lot of seniors...it
will be easy to book "Fuller Brush" shows, and build a clientele of
local customers!
