Why did you join this company?
I was looking for something to do at home so I can spend quality time
with my family. I work my schedule and don't let my schedule work
me.
How long have you been in the work at home business?
I have been working at home about a year and half now and loving every
minute of it. It is so nice to pay off bills, have extra spending money
and still have plenty of time for family, friends and the things I enjoy.
Your biggest challenges: My only challenges really are recruiting others.
In the beginning I never wanted to recruit, But as I started to get inquiries I
realize that it is great to share in the profits of working from home.
Tell us about your successes: With this type of home party plan success comes
easy. It is a product that women would like to buy but don't feel comfortable
going to a store to purchase. Also it makes me feel really good when I
explain to customers that it is OK to want to explore there sexuality and
enhance there relationship.
Do you advertise your business online? How much do you spend? I advertise
having a web site and doing a monthly mailing. It only cost me 29.99 a month
but there are many other ways on the web that are cheaper. It all depends on
what you want to put into it.
Tell us about any games you use successfully at your home parties: On of my
favorite games is the squash n go. It gets everyone laughing. I ask a bunch
of questions and if there answer is yes they must move one seat to the right.
If there answer is no then they stay seated but the person next to them may
have to sit on them. It is a great laugh, also it helps me decide what
products to talk a lot about. I have about 75 games so I try to mix it up, so
if there is someone who attended a party before she is not playing the same
games over and over. I do get a lot of request for the squash and go.
How do you balance work and family? This part is easy. I work my
schedule and never let my schedule work me. During the day when the kids and
hubby are away I answer emails, get organized and call people back. That also
leaves me plenty of time to start dinner and strength up the house before they
all arrive home. Being organized is the key to balancing work and family.
How about some advice for people who are looking into a work at home business?
If you are looking for a party plan or something else, find something that you
enjoy. Don't pick something because it is working for your friends. You have
to enjoy it for it to work well. Don't look for a get rich quick type of home
job. That will only make you crazy when money is not coming in. Find
something that fits your lifestyle.
What are your business goals for 2004-2005?
My goal for 2004-2005 is to share my success with others. Let them know that
this in not the typical home party plan. I would like to have 24 new recruits
by the end of this year and 24 more at the end of 2005.
Adult home parties is growing rapidly right now. You can sell candles,
Tupperware, kitchen supplies or Lingerie, but you must remember you are
competing with local stores. With Adult novelty items you only competition is
the local store that a man is working at and women don't want to ask him
questions about what is good and what is not. Women also feel more comfortable
in a controlled setting when making a purchase like this. She has someone she
can ask the most intimate of questions without feeling uncomfortable. Everyone
laughs at these parties and is never forced to attend. People tend to come to
these parties because they do have question and it is always a good time.
Remember to pick a company that you will have fun with and make some profit.
Having fun with it makes you feel like your not working.
