Become known at some online forums/message boards so that you can begin to get the word out about your new business venture. You can market yourself offline by giving soap gifts during the holidays, birthdays, etc. Sign up for a local craft fair or bizarre to market yourself locally.

Keep in mind that running your own business will require a lot of time, especially making soaps which is very time consuming.
