August 30, 2006 Using YouTube.com to explode your sales According to comScore Media Metrix, YouTube.com had 16 million unique U.S. visitors in July, 2006.
There are no restrictions at YouTube.com as to what videos you can upload (except the xxx stuff, of course). Can you figure out a way to use the #1 site in America to explode YOUR sales? You Tube is now getting 1 Million downloads per day. Incredible for a site that is only 8 months old. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com You could make a short video to demonstrate your products or services and then direct your potential customers directly to YouTube.com to see the video. Very effective, don't you think? Cosmetic reps take note! Here is a savvy business lady who is using YouTube showing off how to apply makeup:
DOES YOUR PHONE BILL DRIVE YOU NUTS EVERY MONTH? I always complain to Verizon, my phone company. No matter what “money saving plan” I choose my bill always creeps back up to about $80 per month. What the heck? Relief is one the way. The big phone companies are feeling the pressure from Vonage, Skype and other low cost options that are now available. Yesterday my wife read a notice from Verizon that they have a new plan where you can call just about anywhere for just $40 per month plus taxes. There are no more per-minute bills. No B.S. If she did not respond to their letter I am sure Verizon would happily keep us on their $80 per month plan. Check out your provider. Just how good is your product? Those who know me know that I am insistent that the products you promote should be able to stand on their own merit. In other words, you should be able to sell them without making your customers be salespeople as well. Think about it. Probably 99 out of 100 people just don't want to sell stuff. But they like to buy good stuff. Why pass by those 99 people? Does your company understand this basic idea? Or do they spend most of their efforts getting you to recruit people? 1. Would you use your product if you weren't selling it? Think anyone else might? 2. AOL users: If AOL told you you that had to sell the service in order to use it, would you have signed up with AOL? 3. Cable TV users: If your cable service told you that you had to sell the service in order to use it, would you have signed up with your cable service? Shall we start treating customers like customers? Want to see what the future looks like for websites? Sales Tips 1. Every negative thing that has ever happened to you, or that ever will happen to you, will be funny and inspirational when you talk about it in the future. 2. When prospecting or presenting, never think about the money you're going to make. The prospect will pick up on it and it will turn him off. 3. Success in Network Marketing can be guaranteed with one simple formula: Get real good at prospecting and giving presentations. Period. 4. If you finish your presentation and your prospect hesitates at the end, the worst thing you can do is try to recover by talking about the benefits. Back off and listen for an opportunity to close later. 5. Most people in network marketing were recruited by someone they know.
